At PALM, our goal is to curate a workspace where everyone can function as a whole human being, acknowledging and accommodating the reality of chronic pain. Together, we can build a workplace culture that values well-being as a key component of business success, eliminating the gap between management and employees, and fostering a united, supportive work environment.
The PALM course is about enriching the learning experience.
The course seeks to improve the individual’s relationship with their condition and themselves. Part of the change in this relationship is recognising that there are things that can be done to improve the ‘bigger picture’ and reduce suffering so that people can live a better life, despite pain. We use a variety of approaches that are based on practical experience rather than just theory. The aim is to present participants with a new perspective on their situation and the tools and mind-set to find their own solutions and way forward. It is an approach in which we work to engender self-efficacy and resilience.
