Chronic Pain is difficult to live with. It is hard to understand, you can’t see it and it varies day to day, sometimes for no apparent reason. In addition to pain, people often experience frustration, anxiety, stress, sleeplessness, low mood, isolation, communication and relationship problems. This all means that pain is accompanied by other problems that compound suffering and make it hard to cope with.
This is a short online course held daily over one week that will introduce the main ideas in the self -management of pain. The aim is to build understanding and discuss ideas that will help participants to manage and cope better.
